CircleIn Points Breakdown

On CircleIn, the actions you take towards helping others, studying, and succeeding in your courses matters. Each of the actions outlined earn points and rewards.

Once you accrue a certain amount of points, as outlined on our CircleIn Rewards page here, you are eligible to earn gift cards and scholarships. Your points are tracked on your leaderboard where you can also select your favorite stores you would like to receive gift cards from. You can also view your points history by clicking on your profile and 'points history'.

Our points breakdown chart shows the base value (points earned per action), and the limits for actions that earn points daily and weekly. Daily and weekly limits indicate the maximum amount of actions you can complete that will earn points. Actions beyond that daily and weekly limit can still be completed, but will not earn points.

We love helping you succeed in your studies and giving back for all your hard work.

Please note: Cheaters don't win in life. Our model of rewarding students has a safeguard in it. Gift cards are manually approved. When a gift card is submitted for redemption, we initiate our review process. We will look at the quality and quantity of student contributions. We love rewarding students for helping themselves and other students work smarter and earn better grades. However, some students may attempt to abuse our points model by SPAMMING the system with unhelpful content that doesn't help students study or get better and actually DETER good students from using our system. We will NOT approve gift cards for ANY student deemed be creating SPAM. For example, asking a high volume of questions that can be easily answered through a simple Google search, that students are not interacting with and prevent valid questions from being seen and answered. This helps no one, so students who ask the questions or students who answer with repeatedly unhelpful responses will not have their gift cards approved. We also will not approve gift cards for students who create and delete planner tasks that were clearly designed to earn points and not to help the student remember to complete important tasks. Students who post flashcards with odd characters or not related to the course in question, or content that is blatantly wrong or filled with bad data, are deemed SPAM.
